The native of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa strung together a consistent 54-hole performance with scores of 70, 71, and 70, en route to finishing with a total score of 211 2–under par. As a result, Trodd helped Shorter secure a fifth-place team finish as he recorded 11 total birdies and an eagle.
