Boutwell finished second at 10-under par, tying a Montevallo school-record, at the three-round Jay Jennison Cup hosted by Flagler. After 54-holes, the junior carded a total 206 (70-68-68), and forced a playoff as he birdied 17 and went par on 18. Boutwell dropped the playoff hole, but led Montevallo to a sixth-place finish in a deep field of regional opponents.
