John led Mississippi College to a 2-1-0 record over the week after recording three goals and an assist. In the victory against Eckerd, the freshman recorded two goals on three shots in only 43:00 minutes, to lead the Choctaws to a 3-0 win. In the win over Ouachita Baptist, John recorded another goal and registered an assist in a 9-0 win.
