Kassen competed at the Jim Freeman Louisville Invitational in the 110m hurdles, winning the event with a time of 13.50. This time placed him second in Division II, it is the seventh-fastest time in DII history and is ninth in NCAA across all divisions. Kassan's performance was also a USATF qualifying mark.
