The graduate pitcher pitched a team-high eight innings, allowing six hits, two runs (one earned), walked two and fanned a team-high 11 as opponents hit just .222 against him. The lefty-hander opened the week by tossing two innings against No. 2 Tampa in a 15-14 win. His next appearance on the bump was a six-inning relief effort against West Alabama, striking out 10 of 21 batters faced while surrendering one run (unearned) on two hits en route to being credited with the win and improving to 4-0 on the season.
