At the Southern Miss Invitational, Tornabene set school-records in both the shot put (12.49m) and hammer throw (53.01m). As a result, she finished third -overall in the shot, second in the hammer while notching a fifth-place finish in the discus (38.21m). Tornabene also added her named to NCAA provisional list in the hammer throw.
