The senior, who improved to 21-2 this season, pitched 13.0 innings, allowed six hits, one earned run, walked one and struckout 16 as the Flames hit .133 against her. Richards opened the series with 10 strikeouts in a 3-0 seven-inning complete game shutout, allowing three hits and one walk. She then struck out six in a five-inning run-rule complete game as VSU won 10-1 to open a doubleheader allowing three hits, before tossing a perfect inning of relief in game two as she retired all three batters she faced in the fifth to complete the sweep.
