Rondon went 4-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles play. The rookie had a pair of wins on court four, downing Southern Arkansas' Mathieu Wieniezky (6-2, 6-1) to open while capping his week with a decision over Xavier Louisiana's Mathieu Strauss (6-0, 4-0, WR) who was ranked 24th in the NAIA. Rondon also added wins on court five as he took down Columbus State's Armin Trklja (7-6, 6-4) and Ouachita Baptist's Ramon Strassmann (6-3, 7-5). In doubles action, he and partner Bernardo Costa, featured on court two where they picked up wins over SAU's Matthew Tennant/Adrian Gheorge (6-4) and OBU's Aaron Osmond/Fernardo Docters (7-6), while stumbling against CSU's Tommaso Schold/Santiago Perez, 6-4.
