The rookie posted a season-high 18 points against No. 23 Lee to stand as the only Choctaw in double figures. She started the week with 11 points - one off her previous high - on the road at Shorter. Garnder averagred 14.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game, while shooting 54.5 percent from behind the arc (6-11) and was perfect from the charity stripe (5-5). This is Gardner's second award of the year and the third freshman honor for the Choctaws this season.
