Williams paced Mississippi College's rushing attack on Saturday as the Choctaws got the better of Valdosta State on the road, 49-40. The sophomore running back finished with 188 yards on the ground with six carries, averaging an impression 31.3 yards per carry, setting a single-game GSC mark. He finished with three total touchdowns, two on the ground and 41-yard catch. The Choctaws set a school-record with 598 yards rushing, which was also the second-most in GSC-history. Williams' yards per carry record eclipsed the previous mark 24.3 set in 2008 by North Alabama's David McCants.
