Hernandez put together a solid performance last week winning the Watson Classic at Choctaw Trails, which was the site of the 2021 Gulf South Cross Country Championships. The sophomore paced the field as she navigated the 6K course in a time of 22:08.8 and helped Mississippi College finished second in the team standings.
