Lanyon batted .583 (7-for-12) with six runs, four RBI, two homers and a 1.083 slugging percentage as Montevallo took the series with West Alabama 2-1. The freshman outfielder had two hits with two RBIs and a home run in each of the first two games. In the final game of the series, Lanyon batted 3-for-5 and scored three runs in the Falcons’ only loss of the series.Â
