Thompson batted a huge .545 with a .643 on base percentage in Alabama Huntsville’s five games this week. She was also clutch defensively with a perfect 17-for-17 on put out chances. In the second game of the Chargers’ double header with Montevallo, she went 2-for-3 from the plate with one run scored. The freshman batted in two runs with her hit in the series opener against Mississippi College. In the second game versus MC, Thompson went perfect at the plate with three hits on three at bats.
