Palmieri took first place in three events during Mississippi College’s first outdoor meet of the season. He finished the 100-meter dash in 10.49s for an NCAA provisional mark before placing first in the 200-meter run with another NCAA provisional time of 21.10. He capped his hat-trick of victories with an anchor run of 41.59s in the 4x100-meter relay.
