Hernandez posted new school records in the mile and the 1,600-meter leg of the Distance Medley Race at the South Carolina Invitational. In the mile, Hernandez finished in a fourth-place time of 4:53.75 which ranks 20th in Div. II. In the DMR, she ran the 1,600-meter leg in a school record time of 11:55.71, the sixth-fastest time in the nation.
