Boykin averaged 27 points on 61.5 percent from the floor and 61.5 percent from three to help give the Bulldogs two wins over West Alabama and Auburn Montgomery during the last week. The senior dropped 27 points on 7-of-11 shooting including four three's as Union topped West Alabama on the road in a game for first place in the conference. Boykin also shot 90 percent (9-of-10) from the free throw line and added four assists. In the win over Auburn Montgomery on Jan. 29, he finished with 27 points off 60 percent (9-of-15) from the field, 57 percent (5-of-9) from three-point range and a perfect 100 percent (5-of-5) from the free throw line. Boykin now leads Union in scoring and is the second-highest scorer in the GSC with an average of 19.4 points per game.
