At the Vanderbilt Inivitational, Ritter ran the last leg of the Distance Medley Race in 4:49 to help give Lee the win in the event. The foursome's time of 11:40.06 was just two seconds slower than Lee's program record and is the best time recorded in Div. II this season. Her mile time of 4:46.99 placed fourth in the event and earned Ritter second in the National Div. II rankings.
