| Notes: Penningotn went 3-for-6 from the plate and drew five walks in a weekend sweep over West Florida. The junior hit a home run in each game of the weekend and has now hit a homer in four straight games. Her home run in the opener broke a 2-2 tie in the third, helping VSU to a 6-3 win. In the nightcap, her two-run homer in the seventh cut the UWF from 4-1 to 4-3, and VSU would go on to complete the rally with a 6-4 win. |
