| Notes: O'Connell tossed her second-straight no-hitter in a 7-0 win over Coker in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday. Coker entered with a 17-2 record prior to being swept by VSU. O'Connell fanned 11 and walked two in the game and then pitched seven innings, allowing five hits, two earned runs, walked none and fanned 11 in a 3-2 win over Lee. For the week, she went 2-0 with a 0.89 ERA in 15.2 innings in three appearances and two starts. She allowed six hits, two earned runs, walked two, and struck out 24 batters. She allowed just one extra-base hit (a double) as the opposition hit just .120 against her. |
