At the Evansville University Invitational, Nelson paced the Falcons and claimed the individual title in the 5K event with her time of 18:06.0, which is the sixth-fastest 5K time in program history. It was the 10th individual title in her collegiate career. This is the third time this year that Nelson has been named GSC Runner of the Week.
