With North Alabama trailing 7-3 with 12:50 left in the third quarter, Evans blocked a Florida Tech punt that UNA returned for a 22-yard touchdown. UNA would never look back, rolling to a 30-7 win. Evans is the second UNA player to be named GSC Freshman of the Week this season (Christon Taylor).
