Notes: Armstrong led the West Alabama Tigers to a near upset of Samford, the #17 team in Division I FCS. In addition to the offensive numbers, he also returned a punt for a touchdown in the game. Armstrong had previously been named GSC Special Teams Player of the Week, but this is his first GSC Offensive Player of the Week Award. His 91 receptions in 2016 ranks fifth all-time in the GSC. He is the first West Alabama wide receiver to win this award since October 30, 2011 (Ken May).
