Crim posted a .900 batting average as the sophomore went 9-for-10, including a streak of eight consecutive hits. Crim became the first Choctaw to a record a five-hit performance this season, including three doubles and a home run, as he led MC to a 10-3 win in the opening game of the series while totaling five RBIs. The win secured a berth in the GSC Tournament for the Choctaws. It’s the first appearance in the GSC Tournament since 1996 and the first postseason berth since 2012. The Mobile, Ala., native also tallied an intentional walk in his first trip to the plate in the final game of the series. Crim recorded a .909 on-base percentage and a 1.600 slugging clip for the weekend.
