Alabama Huntsville attacker Jenna Carr (Fr.; Canton, Ga.) was named the Gulf South Conference Lacrosse Freshman of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Carr took eight shots, seven on goal, and found the back of the net for six scores last week against Lee. She also had four ground balls and four draw controls in the game as well. She is currently sporting 45 points on the season, with 36 goals and nine assists.
 
For Carr, the award accounts for the third time this season she has earned a conference weekly honor, having previously been named GSC Freshman of the Week (2/14) and GSC Offensive Player of the Week (2/28).
