Shorter attacker Shelby Beverly (Gr.; Woodstock, Ga.) was named the Gulf South Conference Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Beverly led the way for Shorter against Ave Maria last week with an 11-point match. She netted seven goals, three of which were free positioning, and also dished out two helpers in the match as well. For the season, she is currently sporting an .891 shots-on-goal percentage, to go along with 51-total points, including 30 goals.
 
The honor marks the second time this season that Beverly has earned GSC Offensive Player of the Week, having previously earned it 2/14.
