Alabama Huntsville midfielder
Natalie Pachinger (Jr.; Mentor, Ohio) was named the Gulf South Conference Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Pachinger accumulated 12 ground balls, seven draw controls and caused seven turnovers over two matches last week. She had five draws and five caused turnovers against Montevallo and eight grounders versus Lincoln Memorial. She also scored five goals with an assist on the week.
The award marks the second time this season, including in as many weeks, that Pachinger has earned weekly honors, as she garnered GSC Offensive Player of the Week 2/21.
