Shorter attacker Morgan Perrone (Fr.; Marietta, Ga.) was named the Gulf South Conference Lacrosse Freshman of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Perrone had two goals, on three shots, all on goal, and two assists in a tough matchup against Young Harris last week.
