Taylor had the most impressive scoring week in the history of the league, averaging 53.5 points per game. His 54 points against West Florida are the second most amount of points scored in a single game in conference history, and his 53-point performance against Valdosta State ranks third. Taylor already owns the GSC record for points in a game, scoring 62 points earlier this season. The senior played all 80 minutes and averaged 4.5 rebounds per game, 3.5 assists per game, and 2.5 steals per game in addition to his scoring outburst. Taylor shot above 50% during the offensive onslaught and was 46-for-47 at the free throw line. His 26-for-26 performance at the charity stripe in the contest against VSU tied an NCAA Division II record for consecutive made free throws in a game.
