The three victories have boosted Shorter back to a .500 record and squarely in the mix for a spot in the GSC Tournament. Included in the three victories this week was an upset over nationally ranked UAH, who currently sits atop the Gulf South standings. In that game, Taylor had 39 points to lead the team. In addition to the 30.0 points per game, Taylor also averaged 5.3 rebounds per game and 4.0 assists per game this week. At 33.6 points per game on the year, Taylor leads the country in scoring. The current GSC single season record for points per game is 28.7. With six games left in the regular season, Taylor is 189 points behind the GSC single season record of 861 points in a season.
