Legrier averaged 23.5 points per game and led the Argos to their first two conference wins of the season, defeating North Alabama and Shorter. Legrier was beyond efficient from the floor, going 16-for-18 from the field in the two victories. He also went 15-for-20 at the free throw line. The senior averaged 7.5 rebounds per game, including nine boards to go along with his 26 points in an overtime win against Shorter. Shorter features Phil Taylor, the NCAA’s leading scorer, but in the Argonaut victory over the Hawks, Legrier was the game’s leading scorer.
