For the fourth time in seven weeks, Christian Brothers claims the GSC’s Freshman of the Week honor, as Mays earns the award after a double-double in another victory for the first place Buccaneers. Mays had 14 points and a career-high 11 rebounds in the CBU win over Mississippi College on New Year’s Eve. Mays also had a pair of assists and no turnovers in 36 minutes on the floor. It was the first double-double of Mays’ career. Three different Buccaneers have been named GSC Freshman of the Week this season.
