Worsham earns his second consecutive award after providing late-game heroics for the second straight week in the Tigers’ 40-38 home victory over Henderson State. The junior hauled in eight passes for a game-high 169 yards along with three second-half touchdowns, capped by the game-winning, nine-yard TD catch as time expired. All three of the Birmingham, AL native’s scoring receptions resulted in leads for UWA. He gave the Tigers a 24-17 edge at 5:24 in the third quarter, grabbing a 66-yard TD. UWA went ahead, 31-24, with 27 seconds in the third frame when Worsham collected a 51-yard scoring reception before he sealed the game via his second game-winning grab in as many weeks.
