Mason helped UAH to a fifth place team finish at the Royals XC Challenge with a 5K time of 18:40.1, surpassing her previous best of 19:21.8. Her time is the fastest by a GSC freshman this season by 16 seconds. It is the fifth fastest 5K time overall this year.
