Hollingshed is now a two-time winner of GSC Freshman of the Week. He gained a career-high 86 yards on the ground in Saturday’s upset win for Valdosta State over No. 12 West Georgia. He also caught nine passes for 52 yards and a touchdown. His receiving touchdown gave the Blazers a 14-13 lead in the second quarter. Valdosta State gained 546 total yards of offense against a West Georgia team that only allowed an average of 281.6 yards to opponents over the first five games.
