Grammer ran for three touchdowns in the first quarter of Saturday’s game against Delta State, propelling the Tigers to a 21-7 lead after 15 minutes of play. UWA would never relinquish the lead, eventually winning 54-42. He also connected with Corey Davis on a 13-yard scoring pass on the second play of the fourth quarter. Grammer has now accounted for nine touchdowns over the last two games. After throwing for five scores last week at Shorter, he went 22-of-39 for 289 yards and ran for 45 more yards against Delta State. The UWA offense racked up 566 yards on the day and the Tigers are now one of only two teams in the league with three conference wins.
