Mississippi College midfielder
Jorge Delgado (Sr.; Juarez, Mexico) was named the Gulf South Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Delgado registered his second-consecutive hat trick to open league play, including the game-winning score against West Florida. The midfielder also notched a score versus Pensacola Christian. He now leads the GSC in goals (nine) and points, with 19.
The honor also marks the second time this season, including in as many weeks, that Delgado has earned GSC Player of the Week accolades (9/20).
