Wells competed in the Struts Invitational hosted by Jacksonville State on September 2, finishing sixth overall. Wells career best 5k time of 15:23.50 placed him first among all Division II runners at the meet. The junior’s performance helped lead the Chargers to a first place finish at the invitational.
