Lee University’s Camden Perez is the Gulf South Conference Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Track Performer of the Week. This is Perez’s first time to earn the award.
Perez set two new records in a single performance at the Berry Invitational, helping the Flames to a second place team finish at the meet. The senior from Monroe, La., won the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:29. The mark in the event set a new program record, broke the stadium record at Berry and also ranks Perez No. 26 in Division II this season.
