Alabama Huntsville pitcher
Taylor Clemons (Fr.; Huntsville.) was named the Gulf South Conference Baseball Freshman of the Week on Tuesday.
Clemons allowed just one run and one walk on four hits in three appearances last week. He posted 2.2 innings of work, including racking up his fifth and sixth saves of the season, one versus Montevallo and another against Valdosta State.
The honor now gives Clemons two GSC Pitcher of the Week laurels this season, as he previously earned it 3/1.
