Montevallo midfielder
Jami Hudak (Fr.; Palmyra, N.Y.) was named the Gulf South Conference Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Hudak contributed to more than a third of Montevallo’s goals during a 1-1 weekend on the road at Davis & Elkins and Alderson Broaddus. She scored nine goals and assisted one in the two games. Hudak scored a Montevallo single-game record eight goals, including five unassisted goals, in a 23-9 win at Davis & Elkins on Saturday. The 23 goals was also a team single-game record for the first-year Falcons. She also had one assist. On Sunday, she scored once in a 20-4 loss at Alderson Broaddus. Hudak placed 12 of her 13 shots during the weekend on goal, including 10 shots on goal against Davis & Elkins. Hudak leads Montevallo with 64 points and is third in the GSC with 4.45 points per game.
