Lee University’s Harold Smith is the Gulf South Conference Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Track Performer of the Week. This is Smith’s second time to earn the honor.
At the Shorter Invitational, Smith set the new meet and school record in the 800 meter run. The sophomore, a native of Cleveland, Tennessee, won the 800 meter run with a time of 1:52.14, meeting the provisional standard. Smith’s mark in the event was good for the 10th best time in Division II.
