Alabama Huntsville attacker
Nicole Federovitch (Fr.; Barnegat, N.J.) was named the Gulf South Conference Women’s Lacrosse Freshman of the Week on Tuesday. Federovitch has received the honor five times this year (Feb. 16, Feb. 23, March 8, March 16, March 29).
Federovitch scored nine goals during the week in the road wins at Alderson Broaddus and Davis & Elkins. Her team-high six goals in the win at Davis & Elkins helped lead UAH to its largest offensive production in its inaugural season in the 23-2 win. She scored three goals in the win last Tuesday at Alderson Broaddus. She placed 15 of her 16 shots on goal. All nine of her goals were unassisted. She also added two draw controls and caused two turnovers. Federovitch leads the GSC with 4.42 goals per game and 5.17 points per game.
