Emily Glover (Jr.; Scottsboro, Ala.) was named the Gulf South Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday.
Glover (5-1) collected her first two shutouts of the season to go 2-0 through three appearances. She struck out 10 in 13.1 innings pitched, including seven in a midweek, one-hit, six-inning shutout win at Stillman College. On Friday, Glover tossed another shutout, beating Shorter, #-#, striking out three and allowing four hits. In her 1/3 inning relief appearance Saturday, she gave up three runs, all earned, off three hits, including a home run and a double. She did not allow a walk in her three outings.
