University of West Georgia’s Amina Saunders is the Gulf South Conference Women's Track Performer of the Week.
During the Jacksonville State Quadmeet, Saunders placed second in the 400 meter hurdles, posting a mark of 102.08 to set a program record. Saunders, a native of Miami, Florida, also placed second in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.14. The sophomore participated in the 4x400 relay that finished second and set a new school record time of 3:49.48.
