  • Alabama Huntsville guard Tanner Finley (Madison, Ala.) is the GSC Men’s Basketball Freshman of the Week for the second time this season. He also earned the honor Dec. 22.
  • Finley scored 14 points and assisted two baskets in 16 minutes of action Saturday. He also had three rebounds.
  • This was Finley’s seventh game scoring in double-figures and fifth-most minutes played during his redshirt freshman campaign.
  • Top-seed UAH (21-6, 18-4 GSC) will host No. 8 seed Shorter tonight at 7 p.m. CT in the VisitSpaceCoast.com Gulf South Conference Men’s Basketball Championship quarterfinals. The winner will meet the winner of No. 4 UNA and No. 5 Delta State on Friday in Birmingham.
