Nicole Federovitch (Fr.; Barnegat, N.J.) was named the Gulf South Conference Women's Lacrosse Freshman of the Week for the second straight week on Feb. 23.
Federovitch paced UAH to two more wins last week, scoring 11 goals and collecting six assists in wins over Rockhurst and Lindenwood-Belleville. All 13 of her shots during the week were on goal. She followed a seven-goal performance in the season opener Feb. 10 with six goals and three assists against Rockhurst on Saturday. She added three groundballs and one free-position shot. On Sunday, she added five more goals and three assists in a win at Lindenwood-Belleville. Federovitch now has 18 goals in three games for a GSC-best 6.0 goals per match. Her 10 assists and 8.33 points per game also lead the GSC.
