Young Harris midfielder Ivey Franklin (Sr.; Buford, Ga.) was named the Gulf South Conference Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Franklin helped the Mountain Lions hold Erskine to three goals in the season opener, collecting one ground ball and caused one turnover.
