Union pitcher Nate Moenning (Fr.; Crawford, Texas.) was named the Gulf South Conference Baseball Freshman of the Week on Tuesday.
 
In two appearances last week, Moenning went 2-0, which included a six-inning shutout performance against LeMoyne-Owen and a two-inning relief appearance. He totaled four strikeouts on the week.
