- West Georgia guard
Katrina Littlepage (Slidell, La.) earns her second GSC Player of the Week honor. She also received the honor Nov. 17.
- Littlepage averaged 23 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 3.5 assists in 38.5 minutes per game last week.
- She led the way in West Georgia’s near upset of No. 11 Union on the road Thursday, scoring 24 points while shooting 52.9 percent from the floor (9-of-17). She added four rebounds, three assists and a steal in her 40 minutes played. UWG’s rally fell short, 70-66.
- On Saturday, she added 22 points, six steals, four assists and three rebounds in a 58-50 loss at Christian Brothers.
- Littlepage leads the GSC with 437 points scored this season and is second in points per game (19.0). Her 151 free throws made and 190 free throw attempts lead the GSC and NCAA Division II.
- West Georgia (5-18, 5-12 GSC) is now two games out of the Top eight with five games to play. The Wolves will travel to Shorter and Lee this week.
