- West Georgia forward Terrianna Cave (Lithonia, Ga.) earns her second GSC Freshman of the Week honor. She also earned the honor Jan. 5.
- Cave averaged 19 points, five rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game, while helping West Georgia to its first 2-0 week of the season.
- She scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a 67-57 upset win over Alabama Huntsville on Thursday.
- On Saturday, she helped West Georgia hold off North Alabama in a 67-66 win at home, leading the Wolves with a career-high 25 points. She shot 8-of-16 from the floor, 4-of-9 from the 3-point arc and was 9-for-9 from the free throw line.
- West Georgia (5-16, 5-10 GSC) is now tied for eighth place in the GSC with Christian Brothers. UWG will travel to Union on Thursday at 6 p.m. CT and then CBU on Saturday for a 2 p.m. CT tipoff.
